Alongside our automotive components and lubricants, Miles India produces high-purity glycol through a dedicated distillation process — built on the same manufacturing discipline behind our component lines, and shipped through the same export network that reaches 22 markets worldwide.

What we offer

Glycol distillation, built on the same discipline

Consistent process discipline

Our glycol distillation runs under the same quality discipline we apply across our component lines — consistent process control, not one-off inspection.

Built for real applications

The glycol we produce is used across coolant, antifreeze, and industrial heat-transfer applications.

Part of one manufacturing base

Distillation runs alongside our precision component manufacturing — not a separate, standalone operation.

Shipped through our export network

Moves through the same Mumbai-based export network that reaches 22 markets worldwide for our automotive components.

Understanding the glycol family

Glycols span a family of related compounds, each suited to different applications depending on boiling point, viscosity, and volatility.

MEG

Monoethylene Glycol

The most widely used ethylene glycol — a base for antifreeze and coolant, and a feedstock in polyester fibre and resin production.

DEG

Diethylene Glycol

A higher-boiling ethylene glycol used in polyester resins and polyurethanes, and as a solvent or plasticizer in coatings and textile applications.

TEG

Triethylene Glycol

Higher boiling point and lower volatility than MEG or DEG — commonly used in natural gas dehydration and as a solvent in coatings and adhesives.

TTEG

Tetraethylene Glycol

The higher-molecular-weight member of the family, suited to uses that need low volatility — plasticizers, gas dehydration, and specialty solvents.

MPG

Monopropylene Glycol

Propylene glycol used industrially as a heat-transfer fluid and for viscosity control, valued for lower toxicity relative to ethylene glycol.

DPG

Dipropylene Glycol

A versatile solvent and chemical intermediate for plasticizers and coatings; higher-purity grades are used in fragrance and personal-care formulations.

TPG

Tripropylene Glycol

A low-volatility, high-boiling solvent with broad solvency power, used as a chemical intermediate across industrial formulations.
